Create your own production line
In this course you will learn how to build your own production line in Simumatik. Don’t worry, we will guide you during the process.
Introduction
You will have access to a base station which you can use to build as many stations as you want to complete a production line. As you can see below, the production line will handle different operations to get empty cans packaged into boxes or pallets. You decide how many stations you want to include and how you want to arrange them. The animation below is just an example of what you can achieve.
In order to make the building process even easier, apart from the base station, you will have access to a specific library that includes many components that will be very useful for you. Keep reading to learn more!
The Base Station
You can find the base station as a system published by Simumatik if you search its name “Production Line: Base station”.
You just need to clone this station and modify it adding and removing components to build a new station. The whole idea about building a production line is based on creating different stations based on this one.
The Library
To make things even easier, we have created and shared a library called “Production Line”which includes all components used in the base station and many more that will be useful to create the new stations.
We will take a look at some of the components in this library during the course.
