Building a Component
This video course teaches you the basics about building and editing components in the component editor. The Simumatik Platform enables endless ways to create components, giving them behavior and physical properties. Here you will only touch on the basics.
- Navigating the interface - Browse existing components in the public libraries. View and edit metadata connected to each component.
- Cloning and creating new components - Setting properties, such as changing visual aspects and collision shapes.
- Creating a component from scratch - Working with assets defining the visual aspect of the component, and adding physical properties to the object.
